This weekend has been another marathon nesting session at the Johnson household. From finishing up the crib and nursery to cleaning out and reorganizing the new playroom, Mark and I have worked tirelessly to get the house ready for our growing family. It seems that the more work we do, the longer our to-do list becomes!
It is hard to believe that the summer is quickly coming to an end. Dance class has officially started back for Alivia, Avery and Kristen. It is amazing to see the advancements that both girls have made this summer in their balance, grace and maturity. Both have grown-up so much in just a few short months. The regular school year gets started back in two weeks, followed by children's choir beginning and the arrival of our new little one. We are all trying to readjust to the new busier school year schedule.
Alivia learned to swim and ride her bike this summer and Avery decided she was ready to use the big girl potty all the time. The girls have had so much fun splashing in the water whether at the beach, at the pool or in the little pool in our yard. They love the outdoors and sunshine!
We have had a great summer and are looking forward to the joys the fall will bring. We are giving lots of hugs and love and savoring every moment with Alivia and Avery during these final few weeks as a family of four. We will soon be ready to welcome our newest little sweet pea!
